Testimonials

“Having decided to get back into running after more than a twenty year gap, I checked the local clubs through thier websites; and found myself repeatedly going to foylevalleyac.com to check out race results and photos. Taking the bull by the horns, I contacted the coach 'Gabriel Bell' and he encouraged me to meet up with the group at their next session, having being hooked from the first night through their dedicated training regime and the camaraderie with in the group, I am very proud to be a member of this local club, who continually strive to bring their members to the forefront of athletics.”

"Healthy Body has a Health Mind: before I joined Foyle Valley I struggled greatly with tension headaches due to a busy home life and the pressures of work. I longed to regain the motivation to get back to my passion in life - running. Thanks to the Foyle Valley family I quickly got that back. After only one training session I felt as though I had hit the jackpot. A group of friendly runners who genuinely had an interest and who welcomed me from the off. They supported everyone, no matter what their capabilities and really made the sessions a lot easier to get through. Almost 2 years on am still going. My work life balance is now better thanks to the relaxation I get from running, my fitness and health is brilliant and I owe it all to the Foyle Valley AC family."
