A huge record entry of 1240 runners saw St Malachy’s AC athlete and previous winner, Joe McAllister win the AES Ballylumford Larne Half Marathon in a thrilling race on Saturday afternoon. McAllister made his break with three miles to go, winning by thirty seconds from Diarmuid Grant, City of Derry, with Portuguese athlete Davide Figueiredo (Monaghan Phoenix) in third.
